Exploring Local Products: Collaborative Visit to Rong Municipality Ignites Solutions for Development
The School of Management Tribhuvan University, Idea Studio Nepal, and Rong municipality joined forces to organize a visit for the students of MBA General 19th Batch from 13th May to 17th May 2023. The objective of the visit was to identify challenges and propose viable solutions for local products such as Gundruk, Honey, Coffee, Sisno, Milk, and Broom. The students conducted extensive research prior to the visit. Their journey encompassed visits to production houses, market exploration, and concluded in a presentation of their findings to key stakeholders. The visit not only provided students with real-world application of their knowledge but also left a remarkable impact on Rong municipality’s development efforts.
The visionary and dynamic leadership of Chairperson Mani Kumar Syangbo further inspired the students to contribute valuable insights and support the municipality’s initiatives. Additionally, the students had the opportunity to visit an Agro farm in Gauradaha, Jhapa during their return to Kathmandu.
